Raymond Coats (born in San Francisco, Ca on August 24, 1948) is an R&B musician and a former member of Cordial. Raymond and Cordial teamed with Bill Withers in a studio project that resulted in “Cordial, Their First” and had a bit of success as he performed in Vegas. In 2011 Ray began his freshman Cd Titled ‘Simply Raymond on the Tate Music Group label where he had some success with the number-one R&B hit “The Love We’ll Share””, from that album. Even though he has released 3 albums since his breakthrough in 2011, he has not had major success until “Uncle Ray’s Project”! Raymond Coats was also a featured artist from Japan to Texas.
